My main tip is don't see it as "selling your soul", just have fun playing some cover tunes I assume you like and do it to the best of your ability.

Yeah Tech you are a great player. You will do great. You will be advertising your skills every time you perform. It might lead to something great.

Let’s see; I also spy a sword, a snakeskin walking stick(?), a makeshift truck floor mat pedalboard, what appears to be kids blankets on top of the bales of hay and the proverbial cherry on top, a “lowered lifestyle” sticker on the white cabinet. Yup, everything checks out.

What kind of covers will you be doing? You may like it! For the first time, you'll see people dancing and singing along to the songs having a blast. You may also go home with $100-200 in your pocket.

:D

Some people don't mind it, others hate it

It mostly depends on the pay and how bad the cover songs are

I made quite a bit of money playing cover songs, but it wasn't worth it compared to the only slightly less money I make playing originals, so I bowed out

But that math is different for everyone

Just be aware that it's a completely different scene and way of doing things, and if you play with other bands they take for fuck's sake ever to get their gear off the stage in-between sets compared to original bands

That picture almost looks like a screenshot from a hidden object, computer game.

I'm guessing the sword is the only sharp object he has that has any affect on his toenails.

I'm still baffled about the Hot Wheels taped to the wall ...... wonder if it's the Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit ??

"But what really knocked me out was his cheap sunglasses."
