It sounds good. I like the placement of that mv without the diodes in a 2203 type circuit. Never tried it in a 1959 though.

Well I can definitely tell you its NOT for everyone. Without a boost, don't really like it that much. I think the diodes make the amp a bit thin-sounding because that amp is freaking thick! With a TS, or an SD-1 it's an 80's wet dream. I'm probably going to spend weeks tweaking it to get it to where I like. I think putting this in a 2203 would be ideal.

I think they're supposed to be pointing outward... black line to the outside. Although I had them pointing inward at first and it may have sounded better...

I'll rewire it with shielded wire and 20 volt Zeners in a couple days and make another clip without the SD-1.
