I think "destroyed" on Rogan is the wrong word. I listened and really enjoyed it because he did exactly what we should hope for. Seemed "normal". Didn't want to get into slinging mud, rather be productive, even as the opposite party. I can't remember if he mentioned it on the podcast, or if I had read it somewhere adjacent to it that when he and Carney spent some time together because of the Tumbler Ridge shooting they were able to see each other as competition to be appreciated rather than attacked. That is the sort of thing that made Canada (and America) great, was being able to discuss differences in opinion as civil humans, not like people just trying to dunk on each other.
Everyone talks about how the internet has made people shitty, but we all continue on down the path rather than correct.
That is a cool huge wall of guitars! Of course it is a Long & Mcquade, who are unfortunately becoming a monopoly in Canada. That's where you really see how little interest there is in becomig a musician these days. A city like London Ontario (population 350-ish thousand) used to have a half dozen different GOOD instrument shops, where now there is just a L&M north and south, some guy who sells shit at a weekend market, and one good shop in the outskirts. (Oxbow Audio for anyone in the area)
