I guess I enjoy spirited debate. I did get angry a few days ago, of which I was chagrined at myself for, and apologized to the party involved.

But part of it is me trying to understand the thought patterns and reasoning behind why someone would support an evil person like Trump. What does a person have to turn off inside themselves to get behind him, and what do they think the benefit is - like what's he doing for his grass roots people? I am truly baffled.

As to talking about the blues, I love them, and I like other music too. I like old school prog (huge Crimson and Gabriel era Genesis fan) and I like The Beatles (pop?) and .... hell, I think there isn't a genre of music that I don't have a few favorite tunes in. That includes free jazz (love late Coltrane) and classical (love Bartok).

Anyhow I wandered off topic. I've talked and talked about music and gear for maybe 25-30 years now on the internet. I don't need to know what gauge of strings is best or how to set up a guitar or how to play changes and what scales you need to know. I've learned too that when you try to answer someone's question, and spend a lot of time and effort into the reply, they will either ignore it or argue with you. *Shrug*.

So that's why I don't dive deep into those topics any more.

But supporting Trump...that's a deep mystery and I hate having unanswered questions. My professional life was as a physicist (yes, I have a piece of paper that certifies me as a "Professional" just like a Dr or Lawyer). I've lived a life figuring things out if they're possible to be figured out and this question of "why Trump" is the most perplexing thing I've encountered.

Blah blah blah. TL/DR. No one cares. Shut up. (Just anticipating the replies from various parties).
