Made a Framus Cobra video with my friend from Unearth.

That was fantastic. All around-drumming, playing, tone, etc. Really enjoyed that!!! :rock:

Yeah I put them in my guitar for a video and they never came back out! They are def. in my top 3 favorite pickup models. REALLY like the neck pickup. :yes:
 
Dude that sounds killer! You and Ola have some kind of gift for mic'ing V30s with a 57. That or my 57 is a hunk of shit. Are those drums Slate samples?

Not sure about the drums. Nick recorded them at his friends studio and then I went to his house afterward and he just played along for the sake of videotaping. I think they are a combination of triggered drums and real cymbals? I will have to ask him.

haha yup he lives near me.

Long story short me and him have been really good friends for years and Unearth saw his YouTube videos and the next thing you know he is off to tour the world with Unearth. Crazy huh?

Their guitarist Buzz sends him riffs via email and then Nick sends him back drum ideas using EZ Drummer. When its time to record or warm up for a tour he just flies out and jams for a few days. Alot of bands do it that way. :thumbsup:

I was in middle school band with Nick, we both played percussion. My friend John was in his old band, eterna nocturna and had just recently told me Nick was playing with Unearth. That's awesome to see him killin' it!

Weird. I used to be in a band called Vanguard with Ian who hosts metal shop on KISW which John used to intern for... crazy small world. We should meet up sometime, you can teach me how to dial in this Dual Rec I just got.
