I still think he needs three dual rectifiers so he can say "I have triple dual rectifiers" so his opponents are confused.
Ah yes the Three Deuces of metal. 🤘🏽

None of these are reissue but I had one, sent it back. It could have worked for me if I did a few mods to tweak it but I didn't want to void the warranty/so expensive so off it went.
Since you had one & we know you have the original gems. Could you share how they compare? I’m curious about this as well..

The reissue sounds great with a boost, but the random 700$ pawn shop find dual sounded 10% better with same boost.

...And I'll be the voice of dissent. I've had 2 G Duals, 2 G Triples, 2 F Triples, and 1 C Dual. The Reissue Triple slays all of them. That also includes a C modded F I had.
If you C mod any of the vintage versions, they are better but this new reissue is amazing. If you are after a wall of sound that is less rich, kinda dull sounding grab an OG G, 94 or later. That, after all IS the sound of most of the 90s recto tones. If you want more definition, richness however you want to describe the F and earlier rectos get a reissue. They have IT in spades. I also consider the MW to sound better than the G version from 94-2000.
I should mention, that $700 pawn shop find, who knows what version, and what mods it might have had? Be interesting to find out.
Just my experience/opinion. YMMV.

Yeah. My experience is one 20 min session at an amp fest back to back. My findings are not definitive for sure. But both amps were at volume and both were awesome. If you didn't play them back to back, you never would miss the other. Just great amps.

Hopefully @Flavatrocious still has that pawn shop amp for tomorrow. I miss that sound

Thank you for the input gentleman.. I’ve debated getting a rev G/F or even the reissue.. currently have multiwatts I think they scratch the Mesa itch :dunno: but my curiosity gets the best of me at times.

The MW is best described as very close to an F tone wise. I've heard a Triple MW and I'd say that's pretty close.
