Usually when I post a clip for people to listen to on a forum, I care what they think. I may not agree, but I certainly am interested in their thoughts even if they differ from mine.
Steve I know what mean bit sometimes you come to the conclusion that who care what others think.i just thought that the clip was very good and it had the sound that's on VH1 that's all.If you compare the clip to the original it's hard to say it doesn't sound like VH1.

to my ears..it doesn't. That's just how it is because they are my ears and yours are yours. At the end of the day, nobody will care if it is a pod when your main amp blows and you are playing through a PA with your backup. Recorded tones are the only time to really be obsessed.Let me just add though, the VM's tone on it's own is pretty rippin VH1 or not.. I just find it a little too thick and saturated.
Kapo I wont know until a play a Vintage Modern for myself then I will know vs listening to a clip.I was looking at the chupacabra also but its hard to find one to try out.
