Getting ready to order a Wizard 40 watt. I have my MC100 Rick built me in 2005. Time to get something alittle lighter weight. Looks like I can get another MC1 ( which has probably been updated since ‘05) or go for an MC2. Ive been really happy with my MC1 aside from the channel switching is super loud. I don’t think that is an issue now though. Any reason to look at an MC2?

I’m sure the 40 watt sounds amazing, George. But I would get the 25 watt in the classifieds. Small and light.

I have thought about it, but a new one isn’t much more. Unless there are tariffs and taxes in my end I don’t know about. I was going to get a 25, went back and forth on it. The 40 is probably better for what I do.

How much does a 40 weigh I wonder?

The 40 has the same headshell as the 50/100 watt, don’t now the weigh.

Mine is a smaller headshell. Smaller than a typical Marshall. Rick has a 40 ready to go with a black panel, but wanted to put it in a purple headshell…not my thing. Either the Hiwatt look or a black and gold to match my piggyback cab please. Haha.
