Wow...after googling what other web boards were saying about MetroAmps and the forums, its no wonder that thing burnt to the ground..

..let the conspiracy theories begin...

..but at the end of the day, there was too much information being given away for free and it was taking away business from people...plain and simple...

...I basically built a damn close replica of the EVH's plexi and I didn't drop a dime to George, directly..but I did to other's who were promoting themselves on that site...i.e, Chris Merren's transformers, which basically gave me the TONE ...yet the name Chris Merren was banned from that site...people were getting too close with their DIY builds and it threatened many...hell, I wouldn't doubt if EVH himself got involved and wanted to shut down the site

...site was so ban happy because the competition was fierce and the market relatively small...

....anyways...that's my two cents on it...
