I imagine the finish checking is a bit of a nail biter for the builder.
So many variables going on there to have a 'controlled' outcome. AND not turn the top to poo.

Sorry, nerd moment. Carry on

Ox4 pick ups? Had those in my last one delivered. Liked them so much I ordered sets for my other replicas.

If this plays 1/2 as well as it looks, you have a LP that's better than any custom shop LP that Gibson could ever hope to build.

They should hire you to teach them how a quality build is done.

Lovely, Steve. We'll need to hook up sometime soon and compare replicas. Congrats, let me know when it comes in, and you can carve an hour out of your schedule.

These are Wizz pickups, but I have a few sets of OX4 pickups if I don't like 'em.

Just to be clear, I had this built for me by the guy I consider to be the premier replica guy... I did not build this...

Stunning... actually way beyond it. Congrats!

Out of curiousity: Is it safe to travel abroad with a replica? I hear some horror stories here in EU.

Holy hell, Steve. The last series of pics gave me chills. Like, not even on the surface, but under my skin. Not even kidding. That was weird.

Congrats!

This isn't the gear page. I think you're aloud to post headstock pics ;)
