sorry about your loss scott, i lost my grandpa last year and he was like a 2nd dad to me, i lived with my grandparants and they helped raise me. you will heal with time but it still hurts today.

He’s in a better place now, peaceful and comforting.

Not to intrude on your thread brother; my Father Fred of 85 has been in Hospice care since November 9th. He has complete renal failure and was given 3 weeks by his doctor back on November 9th. Fred can’t feed himself so I have gone there every day with my Mother and my Wife at 12:00 to feed him his lunch.

Today he came down with pneumonia and is completely unaware of any of his surroundings.
His doctor said that Fred is comfortable and in no pain; he suggested to keep him in that way so he can sleep, and that’s all they can do.

I know what you are going through, Scott. Hang in there!
