Nice clips man, thanks for that ! What are you using for recording ? Im gonna see if I can make a clip with my cheapo digital camera.

Can the new stealth do the original channel 2 crunch? I love the 100 watter blue channel. Gain maxed it is perfect for a nice 80s Modded Marshally crunch, can the stealth do it with the gain set lower?

Chris

That's a killer amp....very impressed, blows away my old blockhead 5150 which I thought was a great head.

I can make the EVH 5150 III to sound like a Peavey 5150. But not vice versa.

Are these a Limited Edition? How many were made?

They sound great!

Watching the clips again.....man that amp sounds killer.
Want to check one out for sure!!

Yeah whats cookin man ? What amps do you have in your arsenal now ?
What's up guys. Just been real busy dealing with life issues, you know the story. Still kicking myself for not grabbing one of these though. I opted into the Helios thru king, kind of second guessing myself now though, since I could have ordered either from him at the time.

I'm loving a bunch of el cheapo amps these days, lol. Not really cheap, just not the high rollers. I have a b+ qr, nitro, orange or100, vht cl100, budda sd80II, twin jet, and a multi watt triple rec.

Cool man..Whats the budda sd80 like, I always wanted to try one of those ? Sorry to get off track fellas... EVH Stealth rah rah !
Hey didn't see this man. It's pretty crazy, kind of reminds me of an ac30/JTM high gain hybrid, lol. Real immediate attack with a unique feel. I was actually pretty shocked how mean it sounds, lots of mid grind, chimney top end, and a punchy thick tight bottom. Pleasantly surprised man.

So any word whether they are going to make more of these?

Sounds great .I think that should just be the new 50 and 100 std amp .IMO
increase price a couple of hundred

These were record at practice volume levels.

Not digging those tones. Sounds synthetic. Thin. Lacking any warmth. Sorry.

Finally! Ive been looking for some cool clips of this beast! Now what to sell??

Damn! I missed out on a used one for $1900 so I bought a regular 100w. I used it last night at a gig for the first time and have mixed emotions. I love the blue channel but it needs more gain :( I'm not really a boosting guy mainly because the extra noise and dynamics when I roll back the volume and such. Just not sure how to remedy this situation because I do love the amp

At least try a tube screamer type boost first on channel 2. I don't get a lot of extra noise and rolling back the volume still cleans it up nicely, or just click off the boost and you have your original channel 2 back. Adding a boost makes it in essence a 4 channel amp because even with the extra gain it's tighter and less compressed than channel 3.

I have a keeley modded sparkle drive that I'll try. Literally just got the amp and haven't had time to experiment...plus my board is full and no room for another pedal. I did just buy a bigger pedalbaord so I will definitely incorporate the rest of my pedals now

I find it ironic/laughable you say the 5150IIIS "Sounds synthetic. Thin. Lacking any warmth. Sorry" when you have a Mesa Triple Rectifier listed in your sig

So I assume you think a Triple Rec is thin?
Ironic post is ironic.
Triple Recs are massive and crushing.
I assume you have no experience with one??
