It also sounds like a Suhr PT-50 with a direct out option is on the way. Something like a Reactive Load and an ACE incorporated into the amp would make sense.

That would be very cool I saw they did some programmable stuff on the hedgehog
IMO smaller compact tube amps with great direct outs to go to the DAW and attenuation to be useful from home to practice to club is a good way to get more player back from the dark side of digital

There are a few companies that are mixing tubes with modern features
Mesa Hk come to mind will be intresting to see if more brands follow the trend

I think it's rumored for the Tremonti amp to be revealed. Fingers crossed...

Is Tremonti still relevant enough to warrant a signature amp? Was he ever? No offense, he's a great player, but when I hear him I don't immediately think "I need that amp!". But, then again, I think there's way too much "signature" stuff on the market. It's diluted the meaning to the point of being ridiculous...

I don't know how you get his 'signature tone' when even live he mixes 2-3 amps for his distorted tone.

Mesa Recto with PRS/Tremonti logo?

Yeah... a single amp capable of doing Mesa Recto and Bogner Uber tones would be interesting...

I try to go every year but taking a pass this year. Gibson is not going to be at NAMM this year.

I've never been to NAMM, mostly because of the location. Lucky for me Sweetwater's Gear Fest is almost in my backyard

Probably an Archon with Tremonti logo!

At one point, I read it was only 15 watts, and an Uberschall-voiced PRS Archon. Seriously.... The whole thing is silly, really. He's really nobody special to me, so I could care less. But, it's funny how some fanboys get, especially when you'll never see him use one live. Fenders for clean, Rectos & Uberschalls for rhythm, Two-Rocks for leads. Does his name really create a buzz?? Not to me, anyway. This rumor has swirled since 2015!

I could be wrong, but I think I remember reading that he was initially approached to do a full 100w head, but instead wanted to do something affordable that kids could realistically buy. A lot of the waiting/revisions have been to figure out how to do it up to their standards and be under 1k. I think the target price was $799 or so.

Yes, I believe that's what I got from it as well.

I don't understand why they "bait" people into something the artist won't use, or sounds nothing like his true rig/tone, or a "smaller, affordable version?". But, I suppose knowing "kids" are naive, why not? I believe he's truly one of the most overrated guitar players on the planet, so why a "Tremonti" amp is even worth the hype, is beyond me.

EVH is doing just fine at $999-$1099 for a 50-watter, but there's the difference.. Tremonti is nobody. They could, (if they so chosen to), make a 100 watter, with all the bells & whistles, and do overseas, like the SE line. That makes more sense. But, for the 7 or 8 people on earth that really care/want a "Tremonti" amp, they'd probably lose their ass. Which, I'm guessing, would be true if they made a $2,000+ USA amp, as well.

The Bogner Helios Eclipse sounds like it could really change the appeal of that amp. One of the better old school Marshall style amps that I have tried out. Just could not get around the separate inputs to go from clean to the higher end of the drive in the original Helios so would have been hard to gig in a variety cover band.

If the channels are accessible with one input and footswitching is possible across the channels/voicings the Helios would be much more competitive with some other good amps out there.

Marshall still won’t release a mini 800 or decent high gain amp, but they’ll reissue some crap nobody wants.
I'm loving my Mini Jubilee! I haven't turned on my QuickRod since I got it.

I also heard they are coming out with a Scott Stapp signature Whiskey.

Too soon? :D

This.

I really loved how the Helios sounded, and it also seems this new version will have more gain available too.

It can become the perfect M type amp, from plexi cleans through hot rodded marshall "thrashyness" and everything in between.

Sounds like a Fortin except his amps do sound amazing.

I saw on Fortin's Facebook group, he is releasing his Meshuggah amp as a production model!

Not sure small batches sold by preorder only with payment in full up front constitute a production model... but I will probably be trying to get in on the first batch

My bet is that Angel Vivaldi guy will be getting a signature Charvel based of his CS guitars. Some dealer posted a new signature Rhoads too, but I can't remember the band. It was kind of cool, kind of not..
