Just got the matching 4x12 for mine.
When you say crank it,you better be sporting ear plugs in anything that resembles a hole.
This bitch is loud as balls at 9:00 (o'clock for those that cant tell time.)

,,,,,,and by way,this amp
sounds best when biased cold.(around 26/ 28mA)
I cranked the bias to where the voltage reads(34/36 mA) and is was really
harsh sounding.
So, I guess we'll save money on replacing tubes.

I hadn't even used it at home and went straight to rehearsal with it as it just came in yesterday afternoon.

Holy hell....what a difference from my previous amp!

Mine gets picked up today
Bought it off guitar center used. Had it shipped to my local guitar center (great option by the way)
And swinging out after work to grab it.
Gonna break it in full time. Drummer is coming over tonite as well. Going to put this bastard full throttle

YUP! JP-2C is still a great amp, no question but this new one really, really was what I was looking for. I am so much more always been a fan of that EL-34s!

No honeymoon with this one....as soon as I turned it on a rehearsal, everyone in my band just nodded in succession. I missed out on getting the first Stealth version a few years back due to an ordering error and I am actually kind of glad that happened. Just picking up a Voodoo lab control pedal today and will wire this up via 4cm with my Helix and have some fun!

Turn down the gain. Go listen to Rocknchippys Youtube videos. His are true to the amp
and it seems he's got the tone locked down.

OK enough about how great it is. Let's hear some specifics. What do you think of the channel voicings compared to the 5153? Has the feel changed? What about the low end? Some people say it's too gainy. I thought so too, but didn't get a chance to fully explore it. How did it handle band practice volume? Is it good at low volume too? Come on man, shed some light here.

Ok.... was a little excited last night.

But yes..... this amp kicks all kinds of ass.
Barely even messed with it. Sorta just plugged and played. The sweeps on the preamp are great. Slight move and it will change the tone.

Compare to your old 6L6 version. I had one and it went up pretty quickly. REALLY wanting one but I waver....

If you get a chance,try the matching cab. ( EVH 4x12's are the same just the Badges are different.)
Anyway,the Heritage (EVH) Greenbacks have a quicker breakup to them. I guess that keeps me from smoothering
the head in gain.

232cap had mentioned that low output pickups are the key to this
head. I have to agree with him on that.
I have a PRS Mccarty Limited Singlecut wiht 57/08 pickups that ROARS thru this amp
