Cool man. I've never seen Woody play an Explorer before. "FUKEET" LOL

Pepper is recycling a lyric from Dirty Hands Empty Pockets off ITAOG, 'You can take all you want old lady
Cause god knows I've tried'

never liked this band, went back a few weeks ago and listened to a bunch of their albums trying again after a thread about them here and still wasnt digging anything, this isnt great but better than what ive heard lol

Really? Ughhh...I have always felt that Deliverance - Wiseblood - Volume Dealer was an epic three album run. But I know they aren't for everybody, I have a few friends with good taste in music that can't stand them.

Hmm, different. Bit of a throwaway riff though, I like their sludgey riffs better. Don't mind the rawer punkish vibe for a change, but overall seems pretty forgettable.
Hopefully the rest of the album is better, but then again, I had similar hopes for Megadeth and that ended up weak and forgettable too.

I'm a huge COC fan, but this is not good.

Cool seeing Woodroe with his FUK EET Explorer though.

Same. After that thread I went back and listened to all their stuff that I hated back in the day, and to no one's surprise I still hated it.

Honestly I think their early hardcore punk stuff is lightyears better than the boomer doom they are famous for.

I cannot, for the life of me get over how stupid the main riff is in the OP song though - it's like the producer told them "okay guys I want you to write a song that sounds like a really uncreative local band full of middle aged men in new balance MX608s who are strangely obsessed with lawn care"

and woodrow and pepper were like "hold my beer I got this"

I swear to god it reminds me of a way less catchy, vastly more poorly written, but better produced "Dead Man's Trail" by the "what makes this song stink" youtube guy

Most bands that reach their level of success I can at least understand the appeal even if it’s not my thing, with them though I just don’t hear it. I listened to those three albums and there wasn’t a single riff, groove, chorus or really anything that excited me in the least that I felt I need to hear again. It’s funny how what’s epic for one is a snooze for another

Yup...That's one of the great things about art...Totally subjective.
