i think everyone in this thread has posted stuff far superior to this. i just dont understand how something this bad gets written buy five guys of such stature, who then hands it over to a big time label like Nuclear Blast, who then says "yeah! this is the first single!!". Dosent someone along the way, be it the band, their friends, the producer, the label or anyone of the many people that have to OK this say dudes, these riffs arent good enough to post for a rigtalk demo, let alone a long awaited album??

This definitely gave me "who approved this?" vibes

Because the riffs are literally like shit I would come up with jamming to a youtube Metal Drum Backing Track™ and the vocals sound like phil is literally ad libbing mnemonic devices to figure out a melody or rhythm.

This is shockingly shitty, especially for such big famous musicians

See, here’s the problem. Mike from McDonalds (post #13) started a new career (thanks D.E.I.) as the chief A & R guy at Nuclear Blast. Let’s just say he’s a few French fries short of a Happy Meal.
