Im a total godsmack hater. They are the dirty diaper of rock n roll. I read in mags all the time about what a riffmiester the guitarist is and how he just plays and writes riffs 24 hours a day. Are you kidding me? thats the most lame stock garage riff suckage ive ever heard.

I am not one to really care all that much about lyrics, but those are hands down the stupidest lyrics I have ever heard. Maybe if I didn't understand English the song wouldn't be so bad.

John from Dropbox is a cool dude and great vocalist, my band played with them twice. Really nice guy(as is the rest of the band). His newer band is https://www.myspace.com/saintcaine

I dig the new album. I take this band for what they are...a straight and to the point heavy rock band. They are a great band to see live. I don't expect super introspective and thought provoking lyrics, crazy technical arangements. That's just not what they are. I think this album has a bit more technicality in its parts, the basslines are far cooler than any of their other stuff. Shannon Larkin is a beast on the drums, always has been. I respect that Sully can play everything - their dual drum solos are really cool live.

I think most people hate on this style of music, even more than the band itself. Which is fine, I can understand what people dislike. I can't sit and listen to widilee-widilee-widilee shit for an hour straight either, unless its got great melody and hook in it. I can appreciate it for what it is, but I rarely sit and listen to it. I like Lynch and Maiden and all that, but I dig Godsmack too.
Also very nice guys, talked to Shannon and Robbie quite a bit. They let us eat dinner with them when we played with them just as if we were on the tour. Also complimented us on their website blog the next day which they didn't have to do.

I don't know, AC/DC but out super simple albums and virtually the same one over and over...I like them too, but - just sayin'

It's pathetic that out of everything in the world there is to write about, that's what they chose. There's nothing memorable about that song except the awful lyrics.

Unfortunate that people still like them.
