Well. I wish I hadn’t. Just plugged in and it sounds like a honky mess. Going back to true singles I suppose.

Something maybe worth trying, I love a Dimarzio Super Distortion (single coil sized) in the bridge of an SSS guitar. It has enough lows and they rolled off the highs just for that position.

I used to have 3 mini hums in mine and never quite did the trick in achieveing that Stratty edge and snap I was looking for.

I would never have guessed I would dig my Alnico 3 based singles set so much, but they are a lot of fun and I have yet to try anything in that specific strat that works better.

Beautiful guitar but that low e is about to slip off the edge of the fretboard. Easy fix though.

If you look at the High E as well, I do not believe a neck tweak is not going to work for this, as that string runs it's proper course. A tweak would push the high string closer to the edge to compensate, which would not be desirable here. It may not even be an issue depending on how they play but it's livin close to the edge for sure. When I look at the string spacing at the nut, it looks like that Low string was slotted the slightest amount too much to the left.

Strings are fine. That picture was taken right after I finished the install. It’s not tuned up and there is no tension on the strings yet.
