What would you have done if that was your Wife, Girlfriend, or Sister? You don't know if his gig was part of larger show, etc. So for the sake of my question, let's assume you somehow wound up in the audience like that Woman did and it looked like the guy that went on stage after her was with her. So he wound up there also. What would you have done?

I still don't know how the guy commited assault and battery and looks like nothing was done.

he should have immediately been knocked the fuck out right then and there in my opinion. The crowd was full of pussies who did nothing...

He is blaming the us government For his actions. Saw it in a follow up.

Completely agree. If that was my wife (who would never get up on stage with that idiot anyway) it wouldn't have ended that way. We would have both gone to jail.

Hit my woman you're going to get hit. Hard.

 I would have went off and tried to beat him to death with his guitar.

Just read he is retiring. I am pretty upset with that.
Imagine all the thousands of his fans that will never hear him tear up the fret board on his guitar. What a waste.

damn - I thought this only happened in elevators
cheap shot, amazed he kept playing. I assume assault charges were filed?

You guys should read the thread over at TGP about this. There are some guys defending the dude talking about "thier stage" etc. :scared:

I really.....really tired to give this guy the benefit of the doubt. Just cant. He was criminally wrong. He knows it. Now its on CNN most the nation knows it.
He is still trying to claim he was the victim. Unreal.
Fess up....and deal with what you done. First step being a man. Stop blaming others! Thats what 12 year old kids do.

I wonder where security was...usually folks don't just come up on stage. he should have pulled a Maynard and sat on her

No idea what was going thru this fools mind that he would pull this off. Pretty sure we havent heard the last of it. ;)
He can say he is 'retired' but it dont make the crime go away.

Just in case this turns into a racial issue, I'd like to quote blogger Jangle Leg...

"I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to give thanks for the many great contributions of the black community and their culture to our society. Their peaceful, generous nature makes them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills, unrivaled by any other culture. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools, and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real Estate values are fueled by the influx of African Americans into any area, which is due to their caring and respectful nurturing of these communities. A clear example of all they have achieved by their enthusiasm for self-improvement through hard work, and a self-reliant can-do nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation. Presently enriching the cities of Spokane WA, Chicago IL, Philadelphia PA, Washington DC, St. Louis MO, New Orleans LA, Los Angeles CA, Flint MI, Baltimore MD, Pontiac MI, Gary IN, Newark NJ, Cleveland OH, Atlanta GA, Richmond VA, Memphis TN, Birmingham AL, Camden NJ, and Detroit MI."

- Jangle Leg

I hear Afroman and Jessie Jackson are going to sue the US Government for punitive damages. It was the US government that did cause Afro man to do this.
I think they might have a case.

I can't believe no one beat his ass.

I thought the guy that walked across stage to check on the girl was gonna hit him.

Dude shoulda been stomped the fuck out.

I love that clip. Especially because he continues to sing a song about being metaphorically strangled. He da man.
