Just got this speaker in yesterday and had some hijinks... I got it to put into my Bogner Atma combo and move the alnico cream I had in combo into a Bogner ported 1x12. Note to self, check dimensions first... I removed the Cream from the combo cab and put in the 65, easy. I opened up my 1x12 cab and pulled the V30 that was in it, put in the alnico cream and low and behold when I try to button it back up, its too deep for the cab. So had to remove it, put it back in the combo and put the 65 in the 1x12 cab.
Why would I do all this? Cus the Alnico Cream is 16 ohm and the V30 is 8ohm and I wanted to run 1 closed back cab and the open back combo. Also, I must say I was somewhat surprised to find that it was a chinese V30, for some reason I expected a UK made V30 coming out of the Bogner custom shop... In any case the work is done and The Cream and 65 sound great together. The use of a closed back cab along with the open back combo adds a touch of bass that makes running the Atma in 1 watt mode sound absolutely huge even at sleeping kid volume.
