off topic: anyone heard from Dan / Mailman1971 ?

Aw man went thru that with my dad. As things progressed there were times his brain couldn't tell his legs to move and stuff. Frustrating for everyone for sure. Overall I opt'ed putting him into a elderly foster care home because he needed a higher level care than I could provide. I got a list of agencies from his geriatric's counselor and tried to find a home he could afford as close to us as possible. Not an easy task but it helped a lot. After that we'd go visit on the weekends, take him out to meal that kind of thing. Best of luck Mailman!
