This one is mine, I bought it a couple of months ago. My first 7 string, which is now my main go to axe! Its carved out of a solid piece of mahogany, no joints or anything just one piece. Fretwork and craftsmanship is unreal, I was so impressed that I have a special build 7 string multiscale on order right now, and am thinking about a third.
Rob from KxK is awesome, replied quick to my emails and is very serious about his craft. Can't say enough about his guitars!
Now's the time to do it, there's another 7 Scale sale run going on until the 30th

Sooner or later I'll end up adding one of those to the collection

So I recently changed pups in my BRJ from a Warpig set to a Painkiller/Cold Sweat combo. At first I thought I had made a huge mistake and wanted to get the Warpigs back. Then I thought I just needed to get used to the new pups and not have such a fast reaction. Anyway, after playing with them for the last week and a half I dig them a lot. It really came down to adjusting the height on the pups. Once I got it right, they came to life. Now the low B is super tight (on the PK) and crushing while the plain strings have nice snap and articulation to them. The Cold Sweat is much more liquid and each note has those pleasing overtones that a good neck pickup has.![]()
Yeah it amazes me how sensitive BKPs are to slight height changes sometimes. The Nailbomb in the bridge of my guitar went from a muddy mess to sounding fantastic with a VERY minor lowering in height.
