I tell you H'what (Hank voice)- swapping the neck on that Harley benton opened its voice up in ways that nothing else could. Absolutely sings now. Before, the pickups themselves are what sounded good (My custom A4 set from PT) - now the whole thing does. And my hand doesn't have that weird slight abrasive feeling when using the neck.

So all you had to do was replace the pickups and entire neck huh 🤣

NO - (Shakes head).......

it's way worse than that.

I actually replaced the bridge, the saddles, the pots, the cap, the tuners, the nut, and the output jack. So to be fair - that was all trying to help as well - but the dead ass neck was just keeping it flat sounding. Hell, even replaced the strap buttons and neck plate.

I got the guitar as a gift from a friend- so I am not bummed about only really having the body as original - as I am elevating this to the highest I can, and it feels like it is actually higher than I thought it could be!

But yeah - if I didn't have an attachment to it in any way - it would have had to move on.

Everyone's done it before :hys: We're all so guilty of this

But that's why it makes more sense to buy stuff that's decent in the first place in a ton of situations
