How do you comapre KT88 or 6550's loaded PMM to TH??Even my Pure Metal Machine looks a little sad when I play the Thor

With good (!) 6550's like GE's or =(C)= Svetlana's loaded in the PMM it's almost quite as bombastic in the lows and nice in the highs as the TH, however I'm missing some of the TH's growl and rawness and I'm missing the complex mids the EL34's are giving. Haven't tried KT88's yet, but anyway - I'm a EL34 guy
In the next few days I will test the TH with a sextet of NOS Mullard EL34s, because I still have 36 pcs. of them on the shelf

Personally, I think taking deposits over five years out, is a recipe for issues. I don’t know how big a deposit is required but for my amp builder, mine was 50% with 2-3 month build time. Still a risk but better odds, no one knows the future, regardless of someone’s age. I’d want to know what safety measures are in place to make people whole, if my amp order can’t be fulfilled due to injury or death. Even then, that may not account for financial issues or irresponsibility, when a builder is using your deposit money to build other people’s amps and his living expenses

My niece Dafni (26 y.o.) has all powers of attorney, keys to my rooms, all logins and passwords, as well as the PINs to my credit & giro cards.
She speaks English almost better than me and she has the instruction to compensate all customers on the waiting list in the case you described.
And believe me - there is more than enough money for that case

She speaks English almost better than me and she has the instruction to compensate all customers on the waiting list in the case you described.
And believe me - there is more than enough money for that case
