Order stop at Larry Amplification

Useful because you wouldn’t need to put a stop to orders. I would be curious to know how you determine the need to stop. What is your estimated production for you to call halt?
As you have probably seen on the website, my niece runs an online shop with vintage clothes, shoes, women's handbags, etc. and she additional has a physical shop in the city for a year now.
She certainly has no time left to solder anything in my shop.

In addition, my name is not Fender, Marshall or Friedman, but Larry and if you didn't hear the shot, I'd like to explain it to you:
A Larry amp is only then a real Larry amp if it was completely built by the master himself and not by some semi-skilled people who screwed and soldered the amp together. This will continue to be the case.

How I have determined the need of an order stop I've already explained in the initial post of this thread.

The best thing to do is to crawl back under the stone from under which you crawled out!

Hey dude, get the fuck of my property! The no trespassing sign is clearly visible:

I swear it sounds like someone's down there..jpg

It sucks there’s such a long line and things change over that timespan both on the buyers end and builders end.

Steve K died and never received his amplifier and I’m not sure his wife was made straight either? I’m not here to say anything other than facts but don’t know what happened of that so I won’t speculate. I know you have good intentions with your own backup plans, but what you do and what you say you’ll do are two different things.

Hell the fact you can still source the same components, over such long wait times especially, is just as impressive.

What components are you talking about?

About the NOS RFT EL34? - still 24 quads in stock and 60 pcs. more on the way. Additional still 9 quads of the NOS Mullard EL34 remaining.
About the NOS Tungsram ECC83? - still about 200 pcs. in stock. Additional lots of NOS Mullard, Philips, Siemens&Halske, Valvo & Brimar ECC83s.
About the NOS Cinch and ELCO B9A preamp tube sockets? - still enough for 25 more Larry amps in stock (all individually packed airtight).
About the NOS LCR 50-50/500V can caps? - well stock meanwhile is shrinking, but the currently available ARS is a spot-on rebuild of the good old Daly.
About the NOS Dubilier Cornell 170 polypropylene caps? - still all required values for about 50 more Larry amps in stock.
About the NOS British Imperial M6 sheet metal for my custom made transformers? - my tranny winder in the UK recently found me 180 kg of it once again.

Yes, if you buy enough in time, you will have enough for the future later
And I additional have good contacts to people in Poland, Hungary and Ukraine, who always find old NOS components for me again and again 😊

Sometimes however it is unfortunately the case that components that have long been out of production can no longer be found anywhere.
That's why I had to switch from my beloved Belling Lee fuse holders to a currently produced type already years ago.
Or my beloved Arrows switches for power & standby on my British Purist & Rock Wizard models are nowhere to be found anymore and I have to use currently produced types for them 🤷‍♂️

But don't worry about it too much and believe me - in 100 years at the latest no one will be talking about it anymore anyway 😆
