For Sale Peavey JSX $500

Okay, as much as I would like to keep this I just can’t justify it. Already trading one of my Teiscos for a Classic 50(which I most likely won’t keep very long).
Peavey JSX head. Very good condition. Guy I bought it from I’m guessing less than 2 years ago had just put a new quad of 6L6’s in it and I have played it for maybe two hours total in that time. No footswitch.

Both, it's not that bad of a drive anymore now that it's spring - if I had the cash I would have already driven over and bought this

I’m really surprised I still have it. I have it on Reverb (local pickup only) and on CL both for $550. Rig Talk price is $500. Still, even at $550 (or any price) it’s a killer amp. There is a guy locally that wants to buy it but he needs to sell his current amp first.
I’ll be picking up my Peavey Classic 50 head next week so I guess I’ll compare the two. I don’t plan on keeping it very long though. I’m very happy with my two VTM 60’s and that’s pretty much my sound. Everything else is just for curiosity/fun.

Damn $500? that's a great deal, I've had 2 of these over the years if you use a 10 band EQ in the loop and run it through a mesa cab (or any cab with V30's) you can get a good badlander type of sound from the crunch channel. and if you scoop out the mids with the 10 band on the Ultra channel you can get a good "recto-ish" type of sound out of it, I liked it the best with KT-77's

I’ll have to double check, but I’m pretty sure mine has 6L6’s. I don’t boost it or run an eq and I run it through 2 4x12’s loaded with Sheffield 1290’s and it pretty fucking killer.
It’s been years since I’ve owned a V30 cab. I love my 1290’s.
