Pics in the classified sub forum

I personally like flickr. Easy to navigate and easy to direct link your images on a forsale ad. If you're really keen on selling your gear, taking an extra 5-10 minutes to upload them to a photo site isn't a big deal.

How you came up with me being self entitled is beyond me. I simply pointed out that a site feature was not working as it should. It is not a matter of me being to lazy to take a few minutes to use a different method of posting pics.Until this thread I was not aware that I had other options. Your bad week at work doesn't entitle you to treat your fellow musicians like shit when they have given you no reason to. If you've got customers, then your week wasn't that bad.

I guess I wasn't digging your accusatory attitude. I've also spent enough years with "fellow" musicians who were total and complete scumbags and worthless to know it's all bullshit unless I know you, so skip the kumbaya stuff. Something like photobucket has been around since Myspace was actually relevant so if it's all new to you then maybe you just crawled out of the primordial ooze, I don't know. The attachment thing has only been a recent thing on this forum anyway. Most forums, including this one for it's life, until about a year ago or so, can only add pics through a 3rd party site. There's nothing wrong with not knowing but be an adult about it. I'm not a cheerleader for Brad, but constantly see threads like these where inevitably a cheap shot is thrown his way about his retail interests vs. the forum and when it happens enough a followup "my bad" post is just hollow. He tends to reply like he did, with a sense of humor and doesn't be the hardass but how many times do you have to take someone pissing on you at your own party, at your own house and you weren't even charged a cover.

I have never had one single issue attaching links, pics or videos. Not sure what the trouble is? Photobucket makes pics a snap! Same with any other basic photo editor.

Photobucket is pretty easy, But you only get 4 gigs of storage and have to pay for more. No big deal. I'll just continually delete old pics in the library I guess.

Let's get serious now. This video demonstrates the basic functionality of photobucket and how to attach pics to forums. One thing you'll want to remember is, when you "copy" a photobucket image link, it already includes the at the beginning and end of the image code, so just paste it directly into the reply space and [u]do not use the IMG attachment button above.[/u]

That's odd. Mine says 10 Gig. 3,000 files. Have not needed to delete anything yet. :thumbsup:

That 10GB is referring to bandwidth (downloads), not the amount of storage space available.
 
490+ views for this thread isn't enough I guess....saw 3 classified threads today with broken attachment pics. :doh:

Sorry, I can't buy that people can't figure out how to post pics using a hosting site, it's a 3 step process any 5 year old could figure out.
