I lost some screws and Fulltone wants $10 for replacements. I got these cool black ones instead. Doesn't that look better?

It would be amazing if those dipswitches were converted to a slew of mini toggelz on the front of the pedal.it has internal dipswitches that let you set it to all the different revisions
Still my least favorite OD ever.
I can attest as I stated V1.3 into a Tubescreamer into a JCM 800 with the volume on 5, preamp at 8 is heavy as fuck. It's more a rock/punk/lead tone type overdrive and it doesn't really work as well for heavy stuff IMO
So i get why you or anyone else wouldn't like it
I've heard some seriously glorious rigs based around it for drive though
I had a v1....guess I should've hung onto it considering the price. It was a good pedal but for the rig I had at the time I preferred my Visual Sound J&H tbh so I sold it for $100 around 2009.It's more a rock/punk/lead tone type overdrive and it doesn't really work as well for heavy stuff IMO

I meant to also say that the new screws look awesome. I always ran mine at 18v - really opens up the headroom.I've bought and sold a bunch of OCDs, and I always regret selling them. When I got this one, I swore to keep it.
I still like it for a drive sound on its own through a clean amp. I'll use it as a lead boost sometimes too, and I usually run it at 18v.
