I'll go outside the usual rig-talk suspects and recommend a few. If you want classic marshall sounds in a small package with an effects loop check out Fargen amplification. For full size heads check out Metropolous. Germino is great but not sure if they will do an effects loop. All of them can be found used at pretty good prices as well in this economy.

I would say Henning amps, Friedman, Brian at BFG, Jerry at JFA and especially Dan especially if you are in the UK. But people forgot the best in the business. BILLY BLADES!!!

who is billy blades, never heard of him? is he a top notch builder?

Good luck finding that rodded Plexi sound, bought the BE100 and love it.
