put a cable into your guitar ..... at the end of theother end of the cable touch your MM Black to the sleeve of the plug .... and touch the red to the tip ....Starting with the volume pot and my meter on 2k resistance I’m getting a reading of 1.33 on one lug and 1.36 on the other lug. Ground on center lug and twist the knob each time each lug is tested. On the tone pot I’m getting no reading on either lug. So is my tone pot dead?

turn the volume and tone all the way up ..... plug in like I told you .....select the humbucker .... take the reading at the end of the cableVolume knob is toast.
or it's grounded out ........ check each lug for continuity to ground ... before giving up on the potVolume knob is toast.
