Question About Cameron Atomica Controls

I was wondering if any of you guys can tell me what that knob all the way to the right of the Amotica does and what that little switch between the gain and master does? Also, how many setting are there on the knob on the back labelled "gain style"? I ask because I have a one-off Marshall SLP that was modded to the specs of the Cameron Atomica by Dave Friedman (as seen in my sig), and was wondering if the Atomica has certain controls or settings that I can't get with mine. Mine has all the knobs on the front except the one all the way to the right and only one input. I'm not sure about the edge switch, but mine has a 3 way toggle between different levels of brightness and attack. The only other control on mine is switch on the back to engage diode clipping. Is that what the gain style knob does? Mine only has 2 setting though: with or without diode clipping

The knob farthest to the right on the Atomica is the gain pot. The switch between gain and master is a 3 way bright switch labeled Edge. The switch on back is 3 position for the clipping.

So are there then 2 modes of diode clipping (like on the CCV) and one without clipping with that gain style knob? Mine only has it without or without diodes, but I don't play it in the diode clipping mode that often. It also looks like only one Atomica has that extra knob all the way to the right. So would my Atomica be more or less like a Jose modded Marshall then? I hear the CCV is supposed to be based on a Jose, but I got to try an actual Jose modded JMP once and my CCV sounds nothing like it or any Jose inspired amp that I've tried, but my Atomica on the other does have some similarities from what I remember. To my ears, the CCV doesn't sound remotely Marshally, but still one of my favorites

It's been a long time since I saw one here, but I believe it is 2 positions of clipping and 1 setting for no clipping. The picture you saw of an Atomica with an extra knob is probably the one I modded with an added clean channel. The Atomica is based on a Jose mod. Not the same the CCV.

But isn't the CCV also supposed to be based on a Jose mod?

yes the ccv is based off the jose mod.
This ^^^
That surprises me since it sounds nothing like the Atomica or any Jose type amp I've tried, yet supposedly it's based on that platform

I have a Brad era CCV and it's news to me that it's based on anything Jose. I have an Atomica too and that for sure is.
