So roughly 20 years ago I started modding wah's ..... I did a bunch for some fellow Rig Talkers way back when the site first started ..

at first I was drilling and adding all kinds of switches and LED indicators ... gain ... volume ....etc ... etc ..

then I found just a simple wah voiced like how I like it ...... was a lot better than something with 1000 options on it ...

I'm not a knob turner ........ at all ........... very much a set it and forget it kind of guy .... I haven't turned on a knob on my Mark V in three years ..... lol

with that said ..... I'm going to start doing some modded Voxs and Dunlops ...... but they won't just be simple hack and whack mods ...

I'm going to fabricate some new PCBs that will drop right into existing enclosures .... and start winding my own inductors for some unique voicings ..

going to use all top quality axial caps ..... will be a huge upgrade to the parts used in current production stuff

if I start really liking the final result .... I'll probably buy some new empty enclosures and start doing " brand new " custom wahs

think there will be any interest ??

I am definitely interested. I absolutely love my Fulltone Clyde, but it has been in service, touring and gigging for 15 years and is beat to hell and might need to be retired.

As long as it's a vox/dunlop style, I would definitely be in the market

As a former wah abuser I 100% agree with this. A nice modded Vox would be pretty sweet but you release more cool pedals than my wallet will ever be able to afford and tbh from a gig-tools perspective I'd rather have some redundancy in some of the pedals you have already sold, or will be selling me soon. I can't say I have much interest in wah-wahs but I love you brother and always wish you good fortunes in your endeavors.☦️

I had a 90's Vox wah (before they started putting 9v adapters on them) and that thing sounded golden. Then someone stole it out of my van at a gig. I really miss you homie.

I have trouble making room for a wah or volume pedal on my gigging board though, both would be useful. I have a Vox Clyde McCoy reissue and Teese Wheels of Fire Wah on my 2 home side boards.

My dream is a wah and volume pedal combo. Where I could switch between the 2 functions. Just throwing that out there.
At one point I had access to a pile of failed crybaby's, maybe my buddy still has them.
