What are you settings? I almost sold it but then quickly realized I don't know how to dial in an amp ughh...i do find that if I leave the boost on it seems to keep it tighter and I like the boost on clean also...so how are you guys running this little amp?

For any tube amp my advice stays the same.

Get some high quality power tubes, get as many preamp tubes as you can afford.

Have it biased a little hot but not enough to fry tubes every week.

Test out every combo of your preamp tubes.

Start at noon with all settings. Press every button it has and turn the little knobbies over and over. Try every combination you can think of.

Put a Maxon 808 in front. Enjoy.

You will eventually learn your amp.

Well that's what happened madnottez, I had an ge7 in the loop scooped and that was my first mistake...changed the eq in the loop and lowered the treble and wallah I feel inspired and can't wait to play it all day....but need to experiment now thus looking for some other ideas...

I'm running my RD45 into a 1x12 cab with a Scumback M75 65watter.

My settings are Gain 2 oclock, Volume noon, Bass 10 oclock, Mid 12:30, Treb 10 oclock, Presence 12:30.
