@mentoneman right up your alley
Alan made some excellent tone machines. the clean channel on the lower wattage OD2r i had, running vintage 6v6s, was so sweet. the lead channels of the Triptik 2 and the DS 100 (Dan Spitz proto my friend owned) were very juicy and sounded fatter and more dynamic than the OD2r lead to me, but i preferred my amp’s cleans at the lower volumes by pushing the power tubes into compression more comfortably.

Those amps were pretty hot on TGP back in the day I recall. People were raving about them.

Not too many of these were made.
I set it up as
A: clean
B: crunch
C: heavy crunch

This one has the footswitch that allows me to turn the effects loop on and off at the board and the Lead volume boost works on both B and C channels...

I really liked where this amp design went. Unfortunate that the business could not sustain itself and Alan had to shut down...

The speaker Alan voiced this amp with was the lowly G12T-75. I have a few that I will experiment with. So far I like the Jensen Blackbird best, with the Raptor a close second. I have yet to try it with Scumbacks or the Scholz Sugarcone. I will mess around a little more on my lunch break later...

curious what you think of fm9 model
never played the amp but not feelin the fm9 versions

the CA model in the fractal ultra was cool but paled in comparison to the real amp side by side.

though i never got the chance to play the JB100, this was the CA clip that set the hooks for me

My first OD2-100 could cop this tone. The Triptik is more British voiced.
