Randall/Fortin they're great

1) I am definitely interested in release of more Fortin/Randall products, because
2) Pete's Fortin modded Marshall (profile) sounds so good it's not fair
 
Everybody be cool. These amps will speak for themselves soon enough.
 
I placed my pre-order with Chubtone for a Randall Thrasher today. :rock:

Granted the release date has been adjusted a few times, but it sounds like late October they should be arriving. I take the arrival of the RD100 as a good sign!

It would be cool if they would put out an amp that is just a copy of one of mikes Cali modded Marshall's. I would buy one.

There is one. It's the Chupacabra. I've had a Cali side by side with my Chupa and they are almost identical down to every switch...shhhhh! ;)

Cool thanks! I have heard its a copy of a fortin , also heard its a copy of a Cameron Jose but wasn't sure which was true.

Much closer to the Cali than the Cameron IMO. But Cameron also did tons of variations on his mods as well so there might be some very similar out there too.
 
Mike is one of the few good guys and an amp design consultant for Randall. No reason to throw him under the bus here.

No kidding, right? It's not as if Mike is single-handedly responsible for the delay. Even if he is, I rather him put it all on the line in making sure the amps function flawlessly. Rather that than we have a Cameron-like fiasco where brand freaking new amps are malfunctioning etc. That would be a nightmare for Randall let alone Mike. Pretty logical I'd say.

If someone has a beef with Randall marketing, take it up with their VP of oh say.. Marketing, not the guy who's busy designing the damn things and making sure QC is in order.
 
From an e-mail discussion with Mike about the Natas, he indicated that the Satan should be released by the end of the year, though he's insanely busy with a few projects for Randall. They were hyped up quite a long ways before release, but it's not like there's no other killer amps to tide you through the wait...
