Why are you so bitter about the delay? Do you have a deposit down or something?

These delays are not uncommon with the launch of new amps. Egnater announced the High Gain and Detroit series over a year ago and they are still not available. The Egnater pedals were announced over two years ago - you still can't get them. Wizard was supposed to start shipping the MC25 and MC35 early this spring - it didn't happen. How about the Cameron CCVMKII that was supposed to start shipping in July, 2011? I could go on and on, but I've tired of this.

well after seeing all the butt hurt comments I thought I better reverse my thoughts. Randall is the best. They sure know how to keep you waiting on your seat for a Mike Fortin designed amp (I mean the ones they said they were going to release, not these teaser amps)

I don't think it was as much butt hurt, as it was recognizing the ignorance, on your part. Most manufacturers announce amps at Winter NAMM, and most take nearly a year to deliver. Peavey is one of the worst. EVH 50-watt heads were a fiasco at one point, taking nearly a year to start shipping, only to dry up, and have to switch facilities for manufacturing.

This is common practice. Happens all the time, so singling out Randall, or Fortin on your part was, again, ignorant. Having a hissy fit like a child who's mom won't buy him the toy he wants real bad. Now, you're being totally ridiculous with your topic change, and changes to your posts. Childish, indeed.

All I know is, my Fortin modded marshall is the best high gain amp I've owned, Mike is a freaking genius.

Why don't you expend your obvious amounts of free time and sadness towards asking *Randall* about your disappointment?

That is why I went with the Gower modded Fortin KK++!!!!

I hope Randall makes a comeback.

That being said I thought the thrasher was hyped up. I heard it at NAMM and heard some killer guitarist ripping through it. Maybe it was the. Way they had it mic'd in the Iso cab but it fell short of the hype. I'd love to hear one through a proper cab with the iso and judge further from there. It got lost in the crowd and my impression was that it would get lost in the band mix.

I know a lot of people who have heard YouTube demos will jump in and bash my post but it was my opinion from hearing it in person over 4 days.

No Randall or Fortin hate on my end. I can't wait for Randall's full line up to be out.

I just wish Fortin had joined Randall before the new Lynchbox/LB103 came out; that way it could be his design. The LB103 looks killer, actually sounds really damn good, but has some cost cutting features/quality sacrifices that I'm sure would be 86'd by Mike Fortin.

and that wasn't even its final form
just wish it had a more british voicing
it's quite flat voiced, but it's got all the goods
the gain texture, lack of noise and great sustain reminded me of the diezel einstein, but without the midrangy character
