Sure is nice out tonight. Warm and breezy. Back when I was starting to build this place and all I had was the slab poured I would sit at the high end and drink a couple tall boys and enjoy the evening breeze outta the south.
I got about half of what I need for firewood now. I wanna have it all done by April plus a friendship pile for when the power goes out and friends and neighbors are freezing. I decided if I stay here I need to build either a nice campsite or a prayer chapel out in the back. It's really nice back there. I've put a lot of time into clearing nice areas to play. Hoping for some rain soon so I can burn off some of the brush and cuttings, it's building up. We've had a burn ban on for a long time.
I need to snap a couple photos to share with you guys one of these days.

I guess I'm the only one using the all night lounge.
I cleaned my gutters today. Sliced myself up real good on the sheet metal and by slice I don't mean that delicious fruit flavored soda and by sheet metal I don't mean rock music you fool around with your girl while listening to it but that might just be a new genre.
I know @Robostyle is up around here somewhere. He actually doesn't sleep.
@Kordoba is probably hammering down his second pot of coffee.
@The~Kid probably has baseball stats flipping through his head in a field of dreams.
@Monkey Man is at his other job, protecting society from movie spoilers

Hey @The~Kid my son took me to In and Out burger tonight after pre-sanctified liturgy. The lot was packed, drive thru was backed out to the roadway. Anyways, when I saw it I thought of you brother. It was like all of Anaheim was there, haha. It's been a couple years since I had it, it was delicious and they packed the bag with fries....

Good of your son to take care of his pops like that .... Who else and yeah what better thing to give your dad than a great burger at In-N-Out.
Not a lot of things beat that, and I ain't just talking about the burger/product. Love that man and here is to your son and you raised a good one.

Looks good man. Heat, roof, and shitter and running water right? I'd lop that fucking tree down though. After this house I'm currently in, my next property will have ZERO trees. I have a major leaf problem at my place. The whole neighborhoods leaves end up in my driveway. I don't care how hot it gets either hate leaves.

Yeah, everything is running good. Still a few odds and ends to wrap up. I wanted to take a few trees near the house down, my wife has kind of opposed it but would probably not say anything if I did at this stage. After cleaning out the gutters the other day...yeah, might make the move this year. I got so much dead stuff to clear out of the back there is always more saw work than I'm willing to do. One day at a time....
