How have times went by the wayside. I have two girls, and two boys, when I talk about years passed, the boys understand, the girls think im full of shit. Times have gone to shit, all my good high school buddies have turned out not good. It gets old explaining real world things to people, or persons, who habe never experienced, or had to live real world 🌎 stuff...
Dang you got that big family! Nice!! That is one thing I wish I would've done is had more kids. Can't believe how good the two I got turned out.

I always thought the 90's was trash but by comparison it's like a golden era compared to now. All my friends and what not from back in the 90's save one dude are dead from drug overdoses, a drunken walk across a busy highway, and some suicides. A couple of them are still around but they got into meth or heavy drinking so I have mostly kept my distance.

Brother, I have three suicides, two lifetime prison sentences, four drug overdoses, and multiple tragedy deaths. Ive been on every end of each of these, its amazing im still breathing. I grew up with the hard core people, we were all just kids, then something went awry. Im 50 years old, and have witnessed way more loss and death, then anyone should. I rant and holler at all the kids, most of them think I have no clue, little do the know, I've seen life, good, bad, and ugly...

Well it sounds like we are similar in age. Somehow the last ten years evaporated more quickly than I thought. I got married early and now my kids are in their 20's so I have free time. If they had been anything like me or my wife I would've killed them both.

I'm thinking I either need to become a priest or a mountain man before I get too old I just have trouble deciding which. My wife is cool with either one, LOL.

Anybody making cool plans for this weekend?
Yep, first outdoor farmers market of the year on Saturday. Should be good times, our market is more popular every year. And our local farm community is great people. Always good to see everyone after winter.
Then band practice on Sunday. Gonna shake off the rust, which never sleeps.

Nice. I need to hit some farmer's markets one of these days. Good stuff. I know they have one over in Lockhart I just never get down there on saturday mornings. Gigging saturday night hopefully dodging rain, planning some june bluesfest details sunday afternoon, then catching a friend's show after that.

Sweet man have a great gig!

Sweet man have a great gig!
Thanks JD. Hoping to, and hoping to make some $ too. Rain means playing down in the speakeasy which means low volume and less $. Still fun though.

Enjoy the rehearsal. I love band rehearsals it's pretty much my favorite musical thing to do since there is no pressure. Risks can be taken and experiments can be made with no consequences. Are you guys gigging at all or just doing it for enjoyment?

Laying off the Maxwell House tonight. The old lady has to be up at 5am so I need to try and get to bed soon, or I'll be up all night lol.

Thanks for checking in.
