the only one who dealing with health issues in the case is Ritchie and he’s already made it clear in many recent interviews that he can’t tour anymore . This was a last hooray get together with old mates on an encore playing one song . Lots of oxygen left in the room . The rest of the band is still doing their thing and doesn’t give a shit what people like you are saying because you’re not a
Music legend . Maybe in your own mind. I don’t know where the other bands you mention fall into a Deep Purple thread , it’s not like they could ever hold their jock straps anyway . This place is hilarious!

When i said he had issues, I meant that he was difficult to get along with and now he realizes that he doesn't have many chances to play with his bandmates from the past. I thought it was great that they did that same together and great closure.

Just saw some vids posted on TGP.
Horrendous. I heard garage bands that were better.
Theres comes a time in life where its time to retire

Reminds me of Sinatras last shows where they just propped him up
He couldn't read the teleprompter

That's because there's not as many economically viable acts. If you have an act that can fill Jones Beach (or come reasonably close) there's not going to be any shortage of options for where to perform.

They may be old, but they still play great.

I saw that tour, House of Blue Light; and Perfect Strangers tour in '85.

Blackmore and Lord together are amazing IMO

I could not stop thinking of him forming a band with Vince Neil, Axl Rose, David Lee Roth, Frank Beard and Nikki Six. That would be a hell of a live show to watch!

Curious, what was so bad about his performance? Did he hit any wrong notes? Did he fall off the stage? What was the problem?

Do you think all those people in the crowd that night and all the people that watched the video the next day, think that he should’ve stayed away from a one time reunion with his old band? Or only assholes like you?
