I guess we are all airing our grievances about HC here. IMO the posters who have been at HC forever are causing just as much problems as the trolls and annoying HS kids, if not more. The inane OT posts and smilies are easier to ignore than 20 page threads fighting back and forth over how people are "ruining the forum" or how people hate the young kids. It's the meta-forum fighting that's making me not go back.

The mods never really bothered me. I got banned once for ruining the religion thread that had gotten to be omnipresent on the front page of HCAF, but beyond that I never ever had issues with them. They were pretty uninvolved for the most part.

I didn't know of your latest posts over at HC, though.

the main thing HCAF has over this place is the speed, the occasional classic off topic thread (EVH, OMNOMNOM, etc), and the classifieds. The classifieds over here are almost exclusively expensive stuff (probably owing to this being a generally older crowd)

I haven't checked the spam much over here but agree with the rest. Some times I like the change of pace here vs. HC. I lurk occasionally and see a pretty cool OT thread here I'll check out and post in, but part of my problem posting in the more serious gear-related threads much is I don't have $ (especially while relying solely on school loan $) to buy anything more than the very rare pedal, pickup, or cheap guitar here and there and so don't have that much interest reading about amps I'll probably never have a chance to try out let alone buy.

But sometimes it's still cool to keep up a bit with what's out there and posters' impressions of it all, and I always appreciate clips by people who've taken the trouble to put them together.

Anyway, I definitely appreciate this place even though I don't post much here.

Yeah, I think Shiny's pretty cool. And although I can understand why his threads get on some people's nerves I have no problem with Renoir, and he's been cool enough along with Pepi to let me know once when you were posting again at HC.

Code_Blue is a momma teet sucking fag. I can't believe he talks shit about anyone considering he's still living with his parents AND has no aspirations to change that situation.
