I actually misspoke a bit..it's not really 'muddy'..although it is on the dark side...it's actually a cool sounding pedal..just that I can get something I'm equally happy with the pedal I already have...so I'd rather get the dough back for the CC and put it towards somethign else I have my eye on..it was worth a shot though..trying pedals is always fun...

yeah, the CCopy didn't last long with me. I still find my favorite delay pedal is the Seymour Duncan Deja Vu. it's just incredible IMO

I like my CC. But I like the dark repeats. I was much happier with the CC over any of my digitals. Works for what I do and how I run my rig.

I run both the CC & a DD3 with my Streetrod rig. Think the CC sounds great. Took a lil tweeking & getting used to. Have both in the loop.

I had a CC, sounded good but I wanted more delay time and options.

Replaced it with a TC Novadelay

The CC just doesn't hit very hard. I would take a Boss DD3 any day over a CC. Mine is used a paperweight. Eventide Timefactor is where it's at.....but in the loop. Out front, I haven't found anything to beat the TC Flashback in terms of price, bypass, no noise, delay selections to run up front.

just picked up a new tc flashback for $122 shipped on ebay, buy it now was $138 or the best offer option which is what i used.. I made an offer and they excepted. They still had 9 left, mine should be here this week.

Haha, I use my DD-20 as if it's a Carbon Copy. I set the delay type to Tape or Analogue, and set the Tone really low so it gets dark and murky. I like that dark character on delay repeats.
Mind you I don't really go for using the 'clean' delay for lead sounds, so I don't bother with the effects loop.

I acutally use the tape on my DD 20 as well =) I just run the tone knob above noon and I dig that sound

I have a CC and love it, but it doesn't quite touch the old memory man deluxe. It's odd that you guys say it's dark. I found it much brighter than the MM. The CC is a suitable substitute for a decent price.
