yep i agree, i don't think there was a shill. 7 total bidders, and 6 were in it from the get go.

It really doesn't matter when the bidders began since shill bidding actually works best at the beginning. Because this makes the shill bidding less obvious. Let's say that maybe just maybe all of the bidders were legit. The amp did not sell for $5k therefore it is not worth $5k. All previous CCV amps sold for much lower than that. One uncompleted ebay auction does not dictate the value of an amp.

That's the thing though. The longer it takes for one awesome amp builder to, well, build... the more up and coming awesome amp builders will fill his role. Obviously, based on how high that auction went, there is a demand

I actually was the High bidder throughout almost the entire auction , in fact the opening bidder, and closing bidder. I did not hit the reserve but I put my bid in and was willing to purchase from Tim as him and I both discussed. It wasn't the number he wanted to hit, so there it is boys and girls!
