Sold Gear to EU the buyer cant pay VAT wants refund? Update

Just a update, buyer has the gear safe and sound, I got my positive feedback but...

I am out close to 500 dollars... :doh:

I split Vat in order to avoid the hassle of a refund and the second chance buyer was no longer intrested. :cry:

I could not even leave the guy a nuetral feedback because of Ebay's seller positive only feedback system. :doh: :doh: :doh:
 
but you could always have the possibility to NOT leave the feedback... ;)
