Silverchair used one on their first album. Not a fan of them but i remember reading that they used one. I believe the 1st or 2nd KSE album was a Boosted SLO.

First Silverchair album was a JCM 900. Subsequent albums I believe were all SLO.

Pretty sure Silverchair used a Hot Rod 100, not a SLO.[/quot

I stand corrected

I think Extreme's III Sides has a lot of SL-60 on it. I had one of those and thought it sounded a lot like my SLO.
Yeah big time for sure.

Bill used the yamaha series live for awhile, but the record was the soldano.

Also the early records done with Prater were on SSL consoles, which, according to David, did great things for Bills tone. The compression inherent in the SSL console supposedly gave a nice bite to the guitar tracks. We did an album with David after the Firehouse stuff was released and I had all kinds of great discussions with David on Bills recorded tone. That was back in like '96 so details are fuzzy, but I do remember that one tidbit about the SSL.

That list is cool and all, but it doesn’t tell what albums/tracks Soldanos, and specificallly SLOs, were used on. That list just means that those people bought a Soldano at some point.
