Someone releases solid state tubes every so often. They never catch on.

Same thing I thought a year ago when they were announced, why bother? Removing the functionality and response of a tube negates the point of using a tube amp with no benefit. At that point just use an SS amp or modeller.

Only skimmed the video, but in the comparison around 7-8mins I noticed the biggest difference was in the low end. In a vacuum (lol) I think they probably sound great and no one would ever notice, but in an A/B its probably noticeable to the trained ear.

I'd be more interested in the feel of them. Maybe the guy talks about it but I ain't watching 30mins of that.
