Splawn QR100 Problems

Run an eq pedal. I remember having the same issue as you when I got one a long time ago and didn't know anything about tube amps.

I eventually just rubbed my schlong all over the amp and sold it to cecilbag

So THAT'S why.....he seemed to have a little PTSD.....I mean he loves the QR, but when he talked about it......

In all seriousness, I love the amp and wouldn't trade it even for a TA. I know that seems crazy but I just love the tone. It made me a better player as well since it shows slop and you can't hide bad playing. I've tried all kinds of other stuff but then end up playing the Splawn. It was like night and day when I pulled the speakers out of the cab you sold me. The creambacks are where it's at with the QR. Switching to celestions made it so much better than the stock man-o-war and gov'ner.
