Given the opportunity to own any one model of either of these 2 manufacturers, which manufacturer would you go with?

Suhr Guthrie Govan in root beer.

I've had both and would go with Suhr for the ss frets and better neck joint on my moderns, imo

I've owned both.
Still have 3 Suhrs.
Sold 2 Vigiers, 3 Taylors, and 4 Andersons.

Wow - seems like NO contest in the poll thus far...

Interesting.

I guess this is a weak poll - I though there's be more of a neck'n'neck battle betwixt the two!

I really like my Vigier but after spending a little time with Steve's (the one in the giant pictures above), I'm going with the Suhr. It plays very easily, love the way it feels even though it's missing a couple frets.

It's got 24 frets. How many do you need, sir?

And also, how could you miss that with the giant pictures?

I will be the odd ball and say Vigier due to the fact the Shane Lane flat board would be cool to mess around with.

Real pretty $$$$$ guitar Steve :D

Beautiful guitar Steve.
I may need to get me one of those.
Don' they make that in a set neck version?
Or was that just for Guthrie?

Well, I need 26 but will settle for 24.

That's funny because I didn't miss any frets when I was playing it so I should have known they weren't missing.

I tried to count them in the picture but even after taking my shoes off, I could only get to 19.

On topic, I would go with a Suhr for the customization. If I had a choice I would go Anderson just out of preference. Tom has won me over with his overall operation.

The Guthrie has a 16 inch radius, it is nearly as flat as the 17 inch radius vigier lane...

I thought the Lane Vigier had no radius at all? RGs actually have a 17'' radius.
