This is actually a good idea. I've been thinking about getting one after hearing some recent Lamb Of God footage. I think Mark Morton is using them and his tone is badass.

It's supposed to be a tighter more sculpted, modern sounding rectifier. Just listen to Lamb Of God's latest album, it's all over it.

Yeah...I remember it being a bit more of a "traditional" Marshall vibe by comparison to my JVM. A bit looser, thicker and not quite as smooth...also maybe had more of that old school Marshall punch and roar.
