Tell me about the Diezel Hagen

I've played through the VH4 and Herbert. How is the Hagen in comparison to those two? Clips and vids appreciated

It's a better overall amp than the VH4....BUT Channel 3 of the VH4 is THE Diezel sound IMO. Just 10% ballsier than the Hagen. Hagen is a little juicer, VH4 more muscle (chan 3).

There is WAY MORE "muscle" in the Hagen... So much so it makes it hard to play well with some amps it either crushes them or tags behind a little when set up to play nice. Definitely a modern amp and needs a modern co-part if in a two guitar band. Vh4 just sits well with everyone but isn't as low mid heavy as the hagen. Hagen=more thrust, vh4=more bite and wall but both have similar gain structures. Hagen sounds literally like vh4 with Herbert's bottom half

Hello!
I´ve owned all three of these glorious amps, and I´m still in possession of the Hagen and Herbert.
If you want I can do a short A/B comparison?

To my ears the Hagen is way more open than the Herbert, which is more compressed.
The Herbert is like a punch in your gut (the good kind) but can get a little bit "pointy" in the treble (I know, that probably sounds hippietrippy but I´m from Sweden and my english isn't any better)
And on the other hand, the Hagen (although more open sounding) is a little more boomy in the low end. But that´s only comparing to the Herbert, it is not at all an un-tight, floppy kinda of amp.
Both have the same "core" soundwise, but are still very different.

The Hagen demands more of you as a player since it isn't as compressed.

Otherwise, both are very versatile and sound amazing
