As I already told you, your amp has been started. The Meatheads take much more time to build than the mods. I've got a lot of other orders to do as well. I just shipped out a Bones and Cali mod on Friday, so if you see posted pics of it, don't flip out, ok Hang in there brother and it was great talking with you the other day

I thought they might have tried to remove my sense of humor from the size of the incision.

It's in progress and should be finished once Mike is back on his feet after his surgery

Should be finished with yours late this week. There is almost no chassis left from all the drilling Damn, yours is the most loaded, feature pack Cali mod to date.

Darren, your amp looks fantastic. I'm in for some long days of waiting but it will be worth it.

Arild, you're in good hand man. I think you'll dig it and will be a good compliment to your Wizards and Bones amps. No overlap tonewise

Ive now had my cali for best part of 2 weeks!!

what ian said above is spot on..the tone,feel, and gain is nothing short of amazing..

ive had 3 cameron amps inc the much wanted ccv-100..now while im not taking anything away from those amps i feel the cali for me is superior to many of the other amps ive owned!!

Dont think of the cali as a 1 trick pony..its not!!

ive coaxed many tones from it..inc great vintage plexi tones..classic 70's rock tones..obviously the 80's stuff which many people represent what this amp is for..
it excells at different tones and different feels at various gain levels..just flicking through the bright switches on the front alone changes the characteristics of not only the gain but the tone too..

i have the loop fitted to mine and it is out of this world...ive never played an amp which has such a transparent loop..i cant speak for everyone who has it installed to there amp..but ive done extensive testing at varous volume and gain levels and there is zero loss!! and i mean zero loss..im running a tc g-major through it..

The 800's are good candidates, aswell as the 60's/70's JMPs (2203/2204/1959/1987). The SLP and 1987 Reissues are really cool if they're the earlier type (before they came stock with FX Loops)

It's AWESOME. I've owned some nice amps such as a few IIC+, VHTUL, XTC, all the other Mark series Boogies. And I've played plenty of others Herbert, Engl's, etc. For high gain the Fortin smokes em all IMHO.

It's just a single channel amp so once you're dialed into your tone that's pretty much it. But it's such a killer sounding and feeling amp. I also owned a Mark 5 before this. Fortin Cali versus channel 3 of the Mark 5...

I was search youtube for some fortin clips and i heard one of your and it was pretty damn sweet, your a good player too.
